So I counted the school days left to this year and there are only 22. Still reeling a bit from how fast the school year has gone. Now I wonder if the 10 weeks of summer will fly so fast?
It's shaping up to be a busy summer. Camping with friends, birthday bashes, family reunions, and hopefully a week at day camp for Alexa if I can get it arranged. And I can't forget the real fun - working on potty training both twins so that they will be ready for preschool in September.
Time to start working on my list of things we can do. I did this last summer and we managed to fit in a few things. It didn't help that it rained so much - sort of limits what you can do. I'd like to see us get a little more beach time just because it can keep everyone entertained and happy.
One thing that is likely to end this summer - Jake's speech therapy. He had his assessment as a 3 year old last week. While they couldn't tell me much without the actual score I have a feeling he was looking pretty good. Still some motor skill concerns but he is blossoming and I'm sure all will come to him in time. It's going to be a bit strange not having that weekly visitor to break up our days a bit!
And the birthday party. I was going to have it just be family but I've had so many kids asking about coming that I may have to readjust my plans a bit!
